LIEVE GREEN VIBRATIONS FAMILIE,
We willen jullie iets vertellen wat ons zwaar valt. Het voelt kwetsbaar om dit te delen, maar als iets ons de afgelopen 24 jaar heeft geleerd, is het wel dat Green Vibrations draait om verbinding, eerlijkheid en het samen doen.
Op Hemelvaartsdag stonden we zoals altijd klaar: met liefde opgebouwd terrein, een programma vol muziek, kunst en beleving – alles gereed voor een fantastische editie van Green Vibrations. Maar de regen kwam... en bleef. De weersomstandigheden hebben er helaas voor gezorgd dat veel van jullie – terecht – niet zijn gekomen. En dat begrijpen we, echt.
Maar het gevolg is hard: we blijven achter met een enorme financiële klap. Voor het eerst in 24 jaar zijn we in de problemen geraakt. Dit doet pijn. Niet alleen in de portemonnee, maar ook in ons hart.
We hebben Green Vibrations altijd als non-profit stichting met een groep vrijwilligers en makers opgebouwd. Alles wat we verdienen, gaat direct terug het festival in. We doen dit niet voor winst. We doen dit omdat we geloven in wat Green Vibrations betekent: vrijheid, expressie, gemeenschap, en elk jaar weer samen iets moois neerzetten.
Daarom vragen we nu iets wat we nog nooit hebben hoeven vragen: jullie steun.
Heb je genoten van Green Vibrations in het verleden? Heb je herinneringen gemaakt, vrienden ontmoet, gedanst in de zon (of regen)? Als je ook maar iets kunt missen – groot of klein – zou je dan willen overwegen ons te steunen?

DEAR GREEN VIBRATIONS FAMILY,
We want to share something with you that’s difficult for us. It feels vulnerable to say this, but if the past 24 years have taught us anything, it’s that Green Vibrations is all about connection, honesty, and doing things together.
On Ascension Day, we were ready as always: the grounds built with love, a program full of music, art, and experience – everything set for a fantastic edition of Green Vibrations. But then the rain came… and stayed. Unfortunately, the weather meant that many of you – understandably – didn’t come. And we truly get that.
But the consequences hit hard: we’re left facing a major financial blow. For the first time in 24 years, we’re in trouble. It hurts – not just in our wallets, but in our hearts.
Green Vibrations has always been built as a non-profit foundation by a group of volunteers and makers. Everything we earn goes straight back into the festival. We don’t do this for profit. We do this because we believe in what Green Vibrations stands for: freedom, expression, community, and creating something beautiful together every year.
That’s why we’re asking something we’ve never had to ask before: your support.
